1. Pumpfun Establishes Glass Full Foundation, Injects Liquidity to Accelerate Ecosystem Community Development link

Pumpfun announced via Twitter that it has established the Glass Full Foundation, which will inject substantial liquidity into the most dynamic and promising communities within its ecosystem, with a focus on supporting core community projects. The foundation aims to accelerate the growth of the Solana ecosystem, having already provided initial support to multiple projects and set to continue deploying funds. According to data from @Adam_Tehc’s dashboard, Pumpfun: Glass Full Foundation has spent $1.69 million to purchase 10 tokens launched by Pumpfun, with its largest holdings being TOKABU and HOUSE. Currently, there is still $350,000 in the Pumpfun: Glass Full Foundation wallet awaiting investment.

2. Orca DAO Proposal Aims to Use Treasury Funds for ORCA Repurchase and Validator Staking link

Orca DAO is voting on a treasury proposal, which intends to authorize the Governance Committee to stake all approximately 55,000 SOL in the treasury to exclusive validator nodes to improve the efficiency of transaction propagation within the protocol. It also plans to use all or part of the SOL and 400,000 USDC in the treasury to repurchase ORCA tokens at an appropriate time within the next 24 months.

3. US SEC Officially Exempts Lido, Jito and Other Liquid Staking Projects from Securities Regulation link

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on Tuesday the official exemption of liquid staking services from the application of securities laws. Projects such as Lido (Ethereum) and Jito (Solana) can issue staking tokens and distribute staking rewards to users without registration. This decision continues the exemption for self-custody and custodial staking issued in May this year, clarifying that liquid staking activities do not constitute securities offerings.

4. Trump — affiliated Project WLFI Announces Plan to Launch USD1 Points Loyalty Program link

Trump family-backed project World Liberty Financial announced the launch of the USD1 Points loyalty program, where users can earn points by trading USD1 trading pairs, holding USD1 balances, and staking USD1. Specific rules will be announced by partners. WLFI stated that the program draws on the points mechanisms of major U.S. airlines and hotels, aiming to reward core users with loyalty incentives.

Gate announced that it will join hands with WLFI to launch the USD1 points program, becoming the exclusive initial crypto trading platform to offer USD1 user incentives. Users can accumulate points through trading, holding USD1, and participating in wealth management, Launchpad, and other activities.

5. Chainlink Launches Strategic LINK Reserve Pool, Accumulates Over $1 Million in LINK link

Chainlink officially launched Chainlink Reserve, designed to build a strategic LINK reserve pool based on revenue accumulation. The reserve is formed by on-chain service revenues and enterprise-level off-chain integration revenues converted through Payment Abstraction, which allows users to pay fees with stablecoins or Gas assets, with automatic conversion to LINK. Currently, the reserve has accumulated over $1 million in LINK, with no plans for withdrawals in the next few years.

6. ResearchHub Plans to Introduce RSC Token Burning Mechanism link

The decentralized science (DeSci) project ResearchHub Foundation announced via Twitter that it will release a governance proposal to introduce an RSC token burn mechanism: 100% of all transaction fees collected by the foundation will be automatically burned every week. RSC is a community governance and utility token on the ResearchHub platform, used to incentivize scientists to publicly share academic content.

7. Ethena USDe Supply Surges 75% to $9.3 Billion in the Past Month link

According to DeFiLlama data, the supply of Ethena USDe has increased significantly by 75% to $9.3 billion in the past month, surpassing Sky USDS to become the third — largest stable — coin by market cap, second only to USDT and USDC. At the same time, Ethena has also become the sixth — largest TVL protocol in the DeFi space.

8. Coinbase Enables Direct Trading of Tokens on Base Network link

Coinbase announced the launch of a decentralized trading (DEX) function in its app. Users in the United States, except those in New York State, can directly trade tokens on the Base network. This feature supports automatic liquidity matching through DEX aggregators such as Aerodrome and Uniswap, and Coinbase sponsors the network fees. Trades need to be conducted using an integrated self — custody wallet. Coinbase will launch new assets in batches and plans to expand to more networks and markets such as Solana in the future.

A few days ago this week, Base Build, an official — associated account of Base, released an incident report. The Base mainnet experienced a network outage on August 5th, with block production suspended for about 33 minutes. The cause of the incident was that the current sequencer lagged due to on — chain activities, and the Conductor automatically switched to a new sequencer. However, this node was still in the deployment process and could not produce blocks. Moreover, the Conductor module was not enabled, making it impossible to trigger the next — round switching. The team discovered the problem at 6:09 and officially launched a response at 6:12. By manually pausing the automatic transfer and taking over with a healthy sequencer, block production was finally restored at 6:40. Base said it would optimize the sequencer cluster configuration and test coverage to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

9. Cardano Community Approves $71 Million Allocation to Support Core Protocol Upgrade link

The Cardano community has approved the core protocol development roadmap proposal with a 73.93% support rate. It is expected to unlock approximately $71 million in financial funds to support key efforts such as decentralized governance, on-chain constitution formulation, and protocol upgrades. The proposal, put forward by Cardano’s governance organization Intersect, marks Cardano’s official entry into the “Constitutional Era” and its transition toward a fully community-led on-chain governance system.

10. Binance Announces the Launch of the 30th and 31st HODLer Airdrops Projects Towns (TOWNS) and Succinct (PROVE) link

Binance announced the launch of the 30th HODLer Airdrops project, Towns (TOWNS), an open protocol for private group chats supporting on-chain membership. TOWNS was listed on Binance at 14:30 (UTC) on August 5, 2025, with trading pairs against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY, and is labeled as a Seed project. The initial circulating supply accounts for approximately 20.83% of the total issuance, with the airdrop amount being 3.02%.

Binance Alpha launched Towns (TOWNS) at 20:30 (UTC+8) on August 5. Eligible Binance users can use Binance Alpha points to claim an airdrop of 1,359 TOWNS tokens on the Alpha event page within 24 hours after the start of trading.

Binance announced the launch of the 31st HODLer Airdrops project, Succinct (PROVE), a decentralized prover network for universal zero-knowledge proof generation. Users who subscribed BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible Earn and/or Locked Earn) and/or on-chain earning products between 00:00 (UTC) on July 9, 2025, and 23:59 (UTC) on July 12, 2025, will receive the airdrop. Binance listed PROVE at 17:00 (UTC) on August 5, 2025, and opened trading with pairs against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.
